Professional Responsibility Compensation. 18 This contract shall consist of 2.5 days of District/Professional Development days; 2.5 days of 19 Building/Principal approved day/activities; 1 day of Building/Principal PLC hours; 1 day of Temporary 20 Conference Calendar solution; 14.5 days of Professional Responsibility (employee directed) professional 21 work described below (see Article XIII, Section 2.B). 22 23 The District and the Association agree and affirm the following beliefs: (a) the success of the North Kitsap 24 School District is dependent upon hiring and retaining the highest quality educators; (b) providing a high 25 quality education for students requires from educators a commitment to the profession beyond the base 26 contract, normal workday and calendar year; (c) the professional commitment of North Kitsap educators 27 cannot be accurately measured in hours or days; and (d) the time necessary to fulfill any one educator’s 28 responsibilities will vary from that of another as determined by the individual’s own professional 29 judgment. 30 31 All staff members fulfill the responsibility contract by performing self-directed and scheduled work 32 outside the traditional workday and work year. The responsibility contract compensates for duties 33 carried out on an individual and collaborative basis to provide direct and indirect service to students.

  • PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY (APPLIES TO RNS ONLY 19.01 The parties agree that resident care is enhanced if concerns relating to professional practice and workload are resolved in a timely and effective manner, as set out below; In the event that the Home assigns a number of residents or a workload to an individual employee or group of employees, such that she or they have cause to believe that she or they are being asked to perform more work than is consistent with proper resident care, she or they shall:

  • Personal Responsibility The Participant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) certify that Participant has no physical or mental condition that precludes him/her from participating in the Activities and that he/she is not participating against medical advice. The Participant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) understand that Participant’s participation in the Activities is voluntary and further understand that they have the opportunity to inspect the Host’s Equipment and facilities before any participation. The Participant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) understand that Participant is obligated to follow the rules of the Activities and that he/she can minimize his/her risk of injury by doing so and through the exercise of common sense and by being aware of his/her surroundings. If, while participating in the Activities, the Participant or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) observe any unusual hazard or condition, which they believe jeopardizes Participant’s personal safety or that of others, Participant and/or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will remove Participant from participation in the Activities and immediately bring said hazard or condition to the attention of the Host.   • General Responsibilities Issuer hereby engages Distributor to act as exclusive distributor of the shares of each class of the Funds. The Funds subject to this Agreement as of the date hereof are identified on SCHEDULE A, which may be amended from time to time in accordance with Section 11 below.
