Intermediate veneers in two opposite grain direction shall be 1:1. The moisture content shall not be more than 12.5% by mass. It shall either be of Mafatlal, Kitply make or other equivalent approved make. Where B.W.P. grade is specified it should be boiling water proof confirming to I.S. standards.
