PERSONAL LEAVE USAGE. A. Personal leave days may not be taken the day immediately prior to or after a holiday or vacation, unless approved by the immediate supervisor. An ESP planning to use a personal day or days shall notify his/her immediate supervisor at least one (1) day in advance except in cases of emergency. The immediate supervisor may deny personal leave if an emergency occurs and coverage of the ESP’s responsibilities cannot be arranged.
