Payment For Work Outside Normal Hours of Work on Public Holidays. The Bank may require an employee to work Outside the Normal Hours of Work on a Public Holiday. An employee who is required to work Outside Normal Hours of Work on a Public Holiday shall be paid three (3) times the Hourly Rate of Pay, calculated on the basis of an hour or part thereof.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • HOURS OF WORK & OVERTIME 9.01 A regular work week shall consist of forty (40) hours worked between Monday and Saturday.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Work on Holidays All full-time, part-time and reserve employees who work on the following holidays, New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day which shall include the four (4) shifts beginning at 3:00 p.m. on December 24 and ending at 11:00 p.m. on December 25, shall be paid at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2x) times the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday shift.
