Overnight Shifts. At each worksite at which there is an overnight shift, the employer shall assign a minimum of two (2) security employees at main College facilities, which shall exclude the District Office, and learning and vocational center facilities.

Overnight Shifts. Any employee required to sleep over in the residence between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid the Provincial Minimum Wage hourly rate. For the purpose of this Article, all hours worked in overnight shifts shall not be included in the calculation of hours in Articles 15.01 and Articles 20.03 nor count as hours worked for the purpose of wage progression in Appendix B-1. Health benefits, sick time benefits and pension benefits shall not apply for all hours worked in overnight shifts. Vacation pay for all overnight nights shall be paid out on each pay period.
Overnight Shifts. It is understood that holiday shifts shall be those shifts which start within the 24 hours which constitute the day of the holiday. It is understood that no employee shall be compensated under this Article for more than one such shift per holiday. It is also understood that in the event that an employee works two shifts starting within the 24 hours of the holiday only the shift of which the greater number of shift hours fall within the twenty-four (24) hours of the holiday shall be paid for or compensated for as a holiday shift. It is further understood that the Company shall not artificially alter start times or lengths of shift in order to amend the effect of this article.

  • Overnight Guests Any guest who remains in on-campus housing past 12:00am is considered an Overnight Guest. Overnight Guests under the age of 16 who are not enrolled are not permitted. No resident will be allowed more than two (2) Overnight Guests at one time (this number can be reduced during special events). Any Overnight Guest requires the approval of the roommate(s). No Overnight Guest may stay more than three (3) consecutive days without the permission of the roommate and the Hall Director. No individual may stay as an Overnight Guest in on-campus housing for more than 15 days total in a given semester. Persons who have been removed from on-campus housing for any reason may not return as Overnight Guests following their removal.

  • Overnight Trips If the Company determines that overnight travel is required, the employee will be reimbursed for expenses, which are supported by receipts as follows:

  • Overnight Travel For each full day of travel, all three meals are reimbursable. Per diems on the first and last day of a trip are governed as set forth below.   • Overnight Delivery When delivered by an overnight delivery service, charges prepaid or charged to the sender’s account, notice is effective on delivery, if delivery is confirmed by the delivery service.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Recognized The days listed below will be recognized by the Company as statutory holidays, regardless of any conflict between these holidays and those declared as statutory holidays by municipal, provincial or federal statutes. Similarly, if Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed on Monday and Boxing Day on Tuesday. When Christmas falls on Tuesday, Boxing Day shall be observed on Monday. All regular and probationary employees shall be paid for statutory holidays. A statutory holiday falling within an employee's vacation period shall not be counted as part of his/her vacation but shall be taken as an extra day of holiday. Regular part-time employees will be entitled to statutory holiday pay provided that they:

  • Night Shift Differential 1. An employee who works an assigned night shift shall, in addition to his or her regular salary, be paid a night shift differential for each hour actually worked on the assigned night shift.
