New Hire Access and Orientation. The Board shall provide all new bargaining unit members at the time of hiring or orientation with a packet containing Association membership materials (i.e., membership form, dues, amounts, listing of benefits, etc.). Since the purpose of the packet is to provide information about Association membership, political and/or issue-oriented material is not permitted. It shall be the Association’s responsibility to print, assemble, deliver, and monitor the number of packets needed for distribution. The Board shall also provide the Association access to new unit members as hired throughout the year. WCPS will provide the Association with access and opportunity to present to all new hires during the new hire training days prior to the contracted academic year and provide a tablespace to meet with new unit members.

  • New Hire Orientation The Union’s Business Representative or designee shall be given the opportunity to make a membership presentation at the employer’s regularly scheduled new employee orientation sessions.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Passwords and Employee Access Provider shall secure usernames, passwords, and any other means of gaining access to the Services or to Student Data, at a level suggested by Article 4.3 of NIST 800-63-3. Provider shall only provide access to Student Data to employees or contractors that are performing the Services. Employees with access to Student Data shall have signed confidentiality agreements regarding said Student Data. All employees with access to Student Records shall pass criminal background checks.

  • Access and Retention of Records Contractor agrees to provide the department, Legislative Auditor, or their authorized agents, access to any records necessary to determine contract compliance. (Section 18-1-118, MCA). Contractor agrees to create and retain records supporting the services rendered or supplies delivered for a period of eight years after either the completion date of the contract or the conclusion of any claim, litigation, or exception relating to the contract taken by the State of Montana or third party.

  • New Teacher Orientation The Association shall have the opportunity to participate in the opening in-service day including speakers for the sole purpose of greeting new faculty members and informing them of the opportunities available to them through joining their professional association.

  • Employee Access to Personnel File An employee shall have the right to read and review his/her personnel file on reasonable notice and by written request to the Human Resources Manager. An employee may request and shall receive a copy of any record or document contained in the employee’s personnel file.

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Parent Right to Access and Challenge Student Data The LEA shall establish reasonable procedures pursuant to which a parent, as that term is defined in 105 ILCS 10/2(g), may inspect and/or copy Student Data and/or challenge the accuracy, relevance or propriety of Student Data, pursuant to Sections 5 and 7 of ISSRA (105 ILCS 10/5; 105 ILCS 10/7) and Section 33 of SOPPA (105 ILCS 85/33). The Provider shall respond to any request by the LEA for Student Data in the possession of the Provider when Provider cooperation is required to afford a parent an opportunity to inspect and/or copy the Student Data, no later than 5 business days from the date of the request. In the event that a parent contacts the Provider directly to inspect and/or copy Student Data, the Provider shall refer the parent to the LEA, which shall follow the necessary and proper procedures regarding the requested Student Data.

  • New Employee Orientations The County shall provide the Union written notice of County-wide new employee orientations, whether in person or online, at least ten (10) business days prior to the orientation. The notice shall include time, date, and location of the orientation. Representatives of the Union shall be permitted to meet with the new employees for up to thirty (30) minutes during a portion of the orientation for which attendance is mandatory. The Union shall provide the County at least five (5) business days prior to the orientation any materials it would like the County to distribute to new employees at the orientation. If the Union staff are unavailable, the County shall grant release time for one (1) union xxxxxxx to attend the orientation pursuant to Section 6.2.1 The County shall make best efforts to provide the Union with the name, job title, department, work location, work, home and personal cellular telephone numbers, personal email addresses, and home addresses of all employees in the bargaining unit every 90 days, but no less than once every 120 days.
