Association Communications. The Association shall be entitled to use one-third of the space available on each existing District bulletin board. The Association shall have the right to use the college’s regular communication distribution system for Association communications and shall be provided access to all faculty mailboxes for such use through appropriate methods.
Association Communications. The Association shall have the right to post notices of activities and matters of Association concern on bulletin boards, at least one (1) of which shall be provided in each school building. The Association may use teacher mailboxes for Association communications to teachers. Use of the District’s intranet global e-mail system shall be limited to specific announcements, as approved in advance by the Superintendent or his/her designee.

The Association shall make every effort not to post or to distribute information, which is derogatory or defamatory of the District or its personnel. When the District deems material to be derogatory or defamatory, the site administrator shall notify the Association representative who shall remove the material for referral to the Superintendent and the Association President or their designees. After the two officials have had a reasonable opportunity to discuss the challenged material, the material may be posted again at the Association’s discretion.

Association Communications. The Association will have the right to place official notices, circulars, and other nonpolitical materials in unit members’ mailboxes, and in the Board’s inter-school mail system, and on the electronic communications systems established by the Board for the purpose of distributing these materials to unit members, provided such use does not interfere with the distribution of the materials of the school system. All Association materials distributed in the school system shall be identified by the Association and approved by the Association president or his designee before distribution. Distribution of materials placed in the inter-school system will be in accordance with delivery procedures established by the Board for the regular distribution of its own materials. It is expressly understood that the Board shall be relieved of any responsibility for materials placed into the system by the Association.
