Common use of Medical/Dental Appointments Clause in Contracts

Medical/Dental Appointments. Employees will make every reasonable effort to schedule medical and dental appointments at times when they are not otherwise scheduled for work. When this is not possible, employees will provide reasonable notice to the Employer and schedule such appointments at a mutually agreeable time in a manner such as to minimize the disruption to their normal work schedule. The Employer will allow up to one (1) hour for medical and dental appointments to be charged against the employee’s sick leave.
