Leaves of Absence Without Pay For Non-Job Incurred Illness or Injury. Leaves of Absence without pay on account of illness or injury which are not job incurred may be granted for a maximum period of 26 full biweekly pay periods. This includes disabilities caused or contributed to by pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, childbirth, and recovery therefrom. Such leaves will be granted only after all accrued sick leave credits have been used and shall be substantiated by a physician's statement.

Leaves of Absence Without Pay For Non-Job Incurred Illness or Injury. Leaves of absence without pay for illness or injury which are not job incurred may be granted for a maximum of twenty-six (26) full biweekly pay periods. This includes disabilities caused or contributed to by pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, childbirth, and recovery therefrom. Such leaves will be granted only after all accrued sick leave credits have been used and shall be substantiated by a physician's statement. Job incurred disability leave runs concurrently with other applicable statutory leaves, including FMLA and CFRA.
