Landlord and Tenant Relationship. No provision of this Lease is intended to nor creates a joint venture or partnership or any other similar relationship between the Landlord and Tenant, it being agreed that the only relationship created by this Lease is that of landlord and tenant.
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. The full normal relationship between landlord and tenant will exist between the Provider and the Resident. It is understood that BC Housing will not be responsible to the Provider for any breach or failure of the Resident to observe any of the terms of the Residency Agreement between the Resident and the Provider, including the covenant to pay Rent.
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. The parties hereto -------------------------------- specifically acknowledge and agree that, notwithstanding any other provision contained in this Lease (including the provisions for payment of Percentage Rent), it is the intent of the parties that their relationship hereunder is and shall at all times be that of Landlord and Tenant and not that of partners, joint venturers, lender and borrower, agent, or any other relationship other than that of Landlord and Tenant.
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. The relationship between Landlord and Tenant shall be solely that of landlord and tenant only, and no provision of this Lease including, without limitation, the provisions of Special Stipulation 8 of this Lease, shall be deemed or construed by the parties hereto, or by any third party, as creating the relationship of principal and agent, or of partnership, or of joint venture, between the parties hereto, and accordingly, without limiting the generality of the foregoing provisions, Tenant shall have no authority to bind or enter into any agreements on behalf of Landlord whatsoever.
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. This Lease shall create the -------------------------------- relationship of landlord and tenant between Landlord and Tenant; no estate shall pass out of Landlord; and Tenant has only a usufruct not subject to levy and sale.
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. BTS Company and Horizon shall execute contemporaneously with the execution of this Agreement, the MSA which governs the relationship of BTS Company, as landlord, and Horizon, as tenant, on those BTS Sites which are accepted by Horizon pursuant to Section 2.7(b) of this Agreement. A copy of the MSA is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
Landlord and Tenant Relationship. Except for payment of the Shelter Subsidy, the full normal relationship of landlord and tenant exists between Society and Tenant. BC Housing is not liable to the Society for any breach by a Tenant of a Residency Agreement.
