Common use of Jury Duty/Civil Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Civil Leave. 13.01. Any full time bargaining unit employee who is summoned for jury duty shall be granted jury duty leave with full pay. An employee shall provide the Employer with a copy of the Jury Duty Summons when requesting such leave. Leaves granted by the Employer under the provisions of this Article shall commence on the date of appearance noted on such a summons. Employees granted such leave shall notify the Employer immediately upon completion of their jury duty obligation. Any compensation or reimbursement for jury duty shall be remit- xxx by the employee to the Employer.
