Intradepartmental Transfers. A. Intradepartmental transfers under this Section shall be limited to employees classified as Deputy Sheriff I or II assigned to Patrol or Jail. The provisions of this Section shall not take precedence over promotional or reduction procedures.
Intradepartmental Transfers. Transfer assignments, an assignment of one (1) year or more, shall be made by the Chief pursuant to the following procedure:
Intradepartmental Transfers. An employee may request to transfer to a vacant position in the same classification or with the same maximum pay rate within his or her department.
Intradepartmental Transfers. An intradepartmental transfer may be either voluntary or involuntary. An appointing authority may transfer employees within their department without the employee’s consent, but must give the employees ten (10) working days notice of this action.
