Deputy Sheriff. Deputy Sheriffs shall be paid a uniform allowance of nine hundred dollars ($900.00) per year to cover all costs associated with the purchase and maintenance of the uniform which the Sheriff requires to be worn. The allowance will be paid in two equal installments of four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00), payable during the months of January and July within a normal paycheck with taxes withheld. Vouchers for payment will be submitted to the County Board of Commissioners during the Board’s first meeting of January and July. There shall be no initial waiting period of eligibility for uniform allowance. Effective for uniform changes including alterations or modifications noticed after July 1, 2015 the employees will be given reasonable notice prior to any such changes, alterations or modifications.
Deputy Sheriff. (Class 5746): Provided that the conditions set forth in C.1 herein have been met, every employee in Class 5746 having an appointment as a result of certification from an eligible list, shall advance within range as follows:
Deputy Sheriff. Sergeants shall not be transferred from one division of the Sheriff's Department to another division except where necessary for department-wide reorganizations, Deputy Sheriff- Sergeant staff reduction or for cause.
Deputy Sheriff. 2. Sheriff’s Senior Deputy Upon initial employment with the County, for all employees hired after January 1, 1988, County agrees to make a onetime payment of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for uniform purchases. For all employees newly hired on or after December 31, 2017 this allowance shall be one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200.00). This allowance is for the following classes of employees:

The rate for one deputy sheriff is $35.00 per hour with a 3-hour minimum. The hours for the deputy sheriff will be determined 30 days prior to the rental event. Old Xxxxxx Dairy will reserve the sheriff deputy on behalf of the Renting Party. In the event the Renting Party fails to pay the deputy sheriff at the end of the rental event, Old Xxxxxx Dairy reserves the right to pay the amount due out of the Security Deposit unless other arrangements have been made. must park in the Old Xxxxxx Dairy parking area. Deputy Sheriff or Senior Deputy Sheriff shall submit a completed Career Incentive Program Application to the Human Resources Analyst assigned to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Sheriff. Section 3. Psychological Testing It is acknowledged that law enforcement work is stressful and at certain times very emotional. Personnel are required at all times to exhibit keen minds that are stable, focused and in control. Consequently, there could be times that an employee could under the abnormal stress of the job suffer from irrational or unstable behavior. Therefore, the parties to this policy agree to abide by these provisions designed to protect the health and welfare of the employee, as well as safeguard the department from allegations of inappropriate behavior by an employee. The testing of employees may occur in the event of the following:
Deputy Sheriff. Carriage House rentals are required to have a deputy sheriff on site until the last gate is locked. The rate for one deputy covers events up to 200 people and has been included in the rental rate fee schedule. Goodwood will secure and schedule the deputy. For events over 200 persons, Goodwood will secure deputies at a rate of $35/per hour based up on one additional deputy for every 100 people over 200. The hours for the additional deputy sheriff(s) will be determined 30 days prior to the event. Fees for the additional deputies hours will be determined and deducted from the Security Deposit.
