Changes in Salary Allocation. A. Upon request of the County, negotiations shall be reopened for the sole purpose of considering an increase in salary (unrelated to a classification study) for any class included in this Agreement. Changes in salary resulting from a classification study shall be subject to the provisions of Article XIX.

Changes in Salary Allocation. If a class is reassigned to a higher salary range, each employee in the class shall be compensated at the same step in the new salary range as the employee was receiving in the range to which the class was previously assigned. However, if a class is reassigned to a lower salary range the salary of each employee shall be determined in accordance with Article II, Section 7.D., above.
