Intervention for Student Success. Effective student intervention for academic and behavioral success requires significant time, materials, and personnel. The current state initiated model being implemented in the district is Response to Intervention (RtI). RtI committees will be maintained in each building for the purpose of gathering and reviewing data, determining and evaluating interventions, and monitoring student progress. The District will provide adequate training, materials, time, and personnel to accomplish the above objectives. Members of the building RtI teams will be released to meet one-half (0.5) day per month in accordance with current practice. During this time, required faculty will be released to meet with the RtI team as needed. This release time shall continue until an alternative plan is developed collaboratively. Any teacher can bring issues or concerns to the building RtI committee. If any issue or concern is not resolved at the building level, a teacher has the right to bring the matter to the attention of the central office administrator in charge of RtI.
