Initial Bid. The Change Team shall meet to determine and establish the timeline for change, and may also plan communications for the impacted work unit(s). After a rebid, agency/traveler employees will have their contracts terminated if they cannot be moved to another open position in the organization, if their skills are not needed in the affected department, if there is no open position in the affected department, or they are covering the extended leave of a FTE’d employee who has bid into a position.
Initial Bid. At the commencement of the Auction, the Debtors will announce the Baseline Bid for the applicable Assets and/or Reorganized Equity.
Initial Bid. Process All drivers shall bid route assignment by seniority which is the date of hire as a permanent driver. All drivers are encouraged to maintain an unrestricted driving certificate. A school bus driver shall not bid on a route/bus for which she/he is restricted from driving according to his/her license/school bus certificate unless by mutual agreement between the parties. Routes shall be available for viewing seventy-two (72) hours prior to bid day. Drivers shall come prepared and restrict their bid time to approximately five (5) minutes. The route time bid is that designated on the first day of school. If any route changes are made after the bid is secured, time adjustments shall be made based on route capability at the District’s discretion. All routes selected and specific routes assigned to bus drivers from the initial bid until the implementation of the re-bid process will be temporary.
Initial Bid a) The Company shall develop the number of full-time and part-time shifts. For the duration of this Agreement, the number of full-time shift shall be equal to or one (1) less than the number of full-time shifts in place as of the date of ratification, unless there are circumstances beyond the control of the Company that would require a reduction of service. The Company shall then allow each employee, in seniority order, to select the full- time/part-time shits. Employees not bidding on a full-time shift also will be considered part-time employees. The intent is to protect the security of full-time positions for those who have already established full-time status. If and when part-time work is established or necessary, it will be placed up for bid as provided in Article 14, Section 14.2.
