Humidity test. Expose the CK, in both operational mode and transportation mode, to the test conditions for the aggravated temperature-humidity cycle in accordance with test method standard MIL-STD-810, Humidity test, Method 507.4, both the operational mode and transportation mode will be exposed for 5 cycles. After each mode of cycling has been W911QY-04-R-0011 Attachment 1 MIL-PRF-32026(GL) completed, inspect the CK for evidence of corrosion, structural damage, degradation, or permanent deformation.
Humidity test. The product shall show no evidence of deterioration after being subjected for 48 hrs to a temperature of 48.9 (plus/minus) 2.2(degrees)C and a relative humidity of 98 (plus/minus) 2%. Refer to 3.3.6 for sample preparation.
Humidity test. Humidity test is conducted on two randomly selected as anodized witness coupons. The test results should confirm the requirements specified in process qualification test. Thermal cycling test: Thermal cycling test is conducted on two randomly selected as anodized witness coupons. However, for acceptance test coupons are subjected to only 100 hot and cold cycles as specified in qualification test. The test coupons should pass through the test conducted without any degradation. Measurement of optical properties: The optical properties, infrared emittance of the coating are measured wherever feasible on some of the selected areas of components and the test coupons before and after environmental tests (humidity and thermal cycling). The optical properties should confirm the requirements as specified under technical specifications and no change in infrared emittance should be observed after environmental tests. Humidity test. Humidity test is conducted on two randomly selected as anodized witness coupons. The test results should confirm the requirements specified in process qualification test.
Humidity test. The humidity test is carried out to examine the resistance of anodic film to corrosive pre-launch and launch atmosphere. The test is conducted in a thermostatically controlled humidity chamber. The relative humidity in the chamber is maintained with 95 ± 0.5% at 50oC. After the test the anodic coating is examined visually and their optical properties are measured. No degradation in physical appearance and optical properties should be observed.
