Hedge Maintenance. The Contractor shall liaise with all landowners regarding access arrangements and working hours for the purposes of carrying out hedge maintenance. No trimming, laying, or clipping shall take place during the bird nesting season. On completion of maintenance, both sides of the hedge shall be vertical and the top shall be level in the lateral direction. All clippings collecting on the ground or lodged in the top or sides of the hedge, together with any litter and debris encountered within the structure of the hedge during the cutting operation, shall be removed and carted off-site for disposal in an appropriate manner. Where organic mulch was applied after planting, the Contractor shall inspect the depth of mulch once per year in March. If the mulch is less than an even depth of 75mm, new mulch shall be applied to restore the depth to 75 mm.

Hedge Maintenance. 5.1. Local Environmental Services will carry out cutting and routine maintenance to all appropriate xxxxxx that are on open space around Housing Stock that is managed by the Gateshead Housing Company.
Hedge Maintenance. 4.1 The Contractor shall maintain all xxxxxx on sites listed in the Appendices of this Specification and listed in the site profiles. The hedge maintenance operations which the Contractor is required to undertake are divided into three categories and these are coded ‘X’, ‘Y’ and ‘Z’ in this Specification. The Appendices of this Specification also indicates the frequency of hedge maintenance required for each site in linear metres. Sides and tops of xxxxxx are to be pruned where ever accessible. The Contractor shall undertake the work of maintenance of each hedge code, the majority of which range from 1.5 metres to 5 metres in height, in accordance with the following requirements. All arisings will be collected and disposed of in a manner agreed with the Supervising Officer.

  • Vehicle Maintenance (a) The Company agrees to maintain all vehicles up to standards which will insure that the employees who operate such vehicles are not exposed to such hazards as arise out of lack of proper maintenance. Each employee who operates a Company vehicle bears the direct responsibility for its safe and proper operation. Each such employee is also responsible for reporting any malfunction of equipment, mechanical defect, and any accident involving the vehicle.

  • Margin Maintenance (a) If at any time the aggregate Market Value of all Purchased Securities subject to all Transactions in which a particular party hereto is acting as Buyer is less than the aggregate Buyer’s Margin Amount for all such Transactions (a “Margin Deficit”), then Buyer may by notice to Seller require Seller in such Transactions, at Seller’s option, to transfer to Buyer cash or additional Securities reasonably acceptable to Buyer (“Additional Purchased Securities”), so that the cash and aggregate Market Value of the Purchased Securities, including any such Additional Purchased Securities, will thereupon equal or exceed such aggregate Buyer’s Margin Amount (decreased by the amount of any Margin Deficit as of such date arising from any Transactions in which such Buyer is acting as Seller).

  • Routine Maintenance (i) CRC shall be responsible for Routine Maintenance when necessary or desirable to maintain the Shared Assets in a safe operating condition, and to permit and facilitate (A) the performance by CRC of its obligations pursuant to this Agreement, and (B) the use of Shared Assets by the Operators in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Maintenance Outages If Seller reasonably determines that it is necessary to schedule a Maintenance Outage, Seller shall notify Buyer of the proposed Maintenance Outage at least five (5) days before the outage begins (or such shorter period to which Buyer may reasonably consent in light of then existing conditions). Upon such notice, the Parties shall plan the Maintenance Outage to mutually accommodate the reasonable requirements of Seller and the service obligations of Buyer; provided, however, that, unless Buyer otherwise consents, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, no Maintenance Outage may be scheduled between the hour ending 0700 through the hour ending 2200, Monday through Saturday, during the time period commencing on May 15 and concluding on September 15. Notice of a proposed Maintenance Outage shall include the expected start date and time of the outage, the amount of Capacity of the Facility that will not be available, and the expected completion date and time of the outage. Seller shall give Buyer notice of the Maintenance Outage as soon as Seller determines that the Maintenance Outage is necessary. Buyer shall promptly respond to such notice and may request reasonable modifications in the schedule for the outage. Seller shall use all reasonable efforts to comply with any request to modify the schedule for a Maintenance Outage. Seller shall notify Buyer of any subsequent changes in Capacity available to Buyer or any changes in the Maintenance Outage completion date and time. As soon as practicable, any notifications given orally shall be confirmed in writing. Seller shall take all reasonable measures and exercise its best efforts in accordance with Prudent Electrical Practices to minimize the frequency and duration of Maintenance Outages.
