FIREMAN SENIORITY. A.1. Each Locomotive Engineer Trainee shall be given a seniority date as a fireman upon successful completion of the initial training class in the order of his/her relative standing on the Trainmen Seniority Roster or System Xxxxxxx Seniority Roster among the members of that class, and below all who have previously established seniority as fireman or engineer except as set forth in B. 1., below. The term "trainmen" in this agreement includes switchmen. A.2. Section 4(4) of Article XIII of the October 31, 1985 National Agreement sets forth the circumstances under which the Company may train others (other than trainmen or hostlers) for engine service. If more than one such "other" is trained in a group, relative seniority among such "others" will be assigned in order of initial date of uninterrupted service with the Company, but following any hostlers or trainmen within the same training group.

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.

Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • Bargaining Unit Seniority The length of continuous service in a position or succession of positions within Bargaining Unit Two (2), beginning with the last date of hire or transfer into the Bargaining Unit, as defined by seniority credits.
