FILLING OF VACANT SHIFTS. At the date of the signing of the Letter of Agreement, incumbent Routine Field Clerks and First Field clerks will be listed by Company Seniority date, from most senior to junior and will select schedules in seniority order. In the f uture, when a regular vacancy occurs, the schedule will be first offered to incumbent Routine Field Clerks and First Field Clerks in the Coordination Center by order of company seniority. Schedules not filled by incumbent Routine Field Clerks or First Field Clerks will be posted and filled through Title 305 or pursuant to Letter Agreement R1-04-

Employees shall only be required to work their chosen schedule. Any transfer of employee to another schedule shall be on a voluntary basis only. Note: If a Hiring Hall employee working in the Traffic Control Coordination Center is hired as a regular full time employee, Company seniority will be determined by date of hire. Time spent as a Hiring Hall employee will not be considered for purposes of schedule choice. Upon 60 days written notice, either party may cancel this agreement.   • Filling of Vacancies In the case of any increase in the number of Managers, or of any vacancy in the Board of Managers, the additional Manager shall be appointed by the Beneficial Owner.

  • Posting and Filling of Vacancies 8.1(1) When a permanent vacancy occurs within a classification covered by this agreement, which the Employer intends to fill, after the Employer applies the internal job transfer bidding procedure and the ultimate vacancy is thereby identified, such vacancy shall be advertised for ten (10) calendar days provided that nothing herein shall prevent the Employer from advertising such vacancy throughout its system or outside during the ten (10) day period. Probationary employees may, at the sole discretion of the Employer, be considered for another position outside their classification after the signing date of this agreement. The Corporation reserves the sole and absolute right to carry out any applicable interviewing or testing that is necessary in its opinion. All test processes will be approved by qualified Human Resources staff. An employee will only be allowed to take one test failure for each different job classification bid every four (4) months. Current employees applying for positions which involve increased driving responsibilities must meet corporate driving standards and provide with application a current driving abstract. The opinion of the Employer shall not be exercised in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner.

  • Posting of Vacant Positions Positions that are not filled through placement of employees from the layoff list or internal transfer list will be posted for a period of at least seven (7) calendar days, during which time, internal and external applicants may apply. The posting will include, at a minimum, a description of the work to be performed, the requirements of the position, the rate of pay and the shift.

  • Notice of Vacancy The notice for a vacancy shall contain: the job title; the salary range if below the present level 31 (Amherst) or 34 (Boston); a description of the position; the bona fide occupational requirements; the shift (where appropriate); the location; the closing date for applications; and, if the position is grant-funded or contract-funded, the termination date of the position, if known. A copy of the notice shall be provided to the Union.
