Fall Conferences. Elementary and Middle School conferences will be scheduled over a two-day period, on a Thursday and Friday. On the scheduled Thursday, students will not be in attendance and teachers will use the first half of the day to prepare for the conferences. Conferences on this Thursday will be scheduled in the afternoon and evening. On the scheduled Friday, students will not be in attendance and conferences will be scheduled in the morning for a period of 5 hours. The remainder of the day will be a non-attendance day for teachers.

Fall Conferences. In the Fall, parent/teacher conferences will be from 11:00-8:15 p.m. (or until conferences are completed whichever comes first). Dinner break will be an hour for all. Teachers have the option of scheduling earlier on Conference Day. Elementary teachers unable to schedule a conference in the fall for each parent(s) of the students assigned to them on conference day will schedule an in person conference with parent(s) during their conference period or outside the student school day within the week of officially designated conferences. Spring Conferences In the Spring, elementary conferences will be scheduled on the District “secondary testing day.” At a minimum, teachers will meet with the parent(s) of any student assigned to them performing below grade level. If a conference cannot be scheduled on that day a personal contact must be made with the parent(s) during that same week. At the secondary level, a personal contact by the teacher must be made with the parent(s) of any student at risk of failing their class during the week of the “secondary testing day.” NOTE: Record of contacts will be maintained for both Fall and Spring conferences.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement.
