Secondary Level. All secondary employees will be assigned daily planning time equivalent to one (1) class period. An exception to this requirement has been made through contract waiver annually granted to 00xx Xxxxxx. The parties now agree that 00xx Xxxxxx may continue the practice outlined on their 2010-11 waiver from year to year without the necessity of asking the District and Association for a waiver. The 0000-00 00xx Xxxxxx waiver is attached hereto as Appendix J.
Secondary Level. Except for a teaching position in special education, a person must have the equivalent of a major, minor, or endorsement in the particular field in which the majority of his teaching time will be devoted for a position in grades 9 through 12.

Secondary Level. After determining the department(s) affiliated with every unit member at the site (any department in which the unit member has ever taught and is credentialed and certificated to teach at the site), the District shall determine if there is any excess FTE in a given department.
Secondary Level. The unit member(s) with the highest seniority number in the affected department(s) shall be surplused unless the unit member(s) is/are the only unit member(s) available at the site credentialed to teach a specific class(es) included in the approved curriculum. In such case, the unit member in the department with the next highest seniority number is surplused.

Secondary Level. EU Mathematical Syllabus Years 6 and 7 For the Baccalaureate This covers the material in MA 141 and MA 241 at about the depth of the AP courses. In structure and content it is closer to the International Baccalaureate Advanced than our sequence.
Secondary Level. 9.16.8.1 Teachers will be compensated for providing coverage for a classroom when a substitute has been requested and none is available. The rate of pay shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per period/hour. Adult school teachers providing coverage for a classroom when a substitute has been requested and none is available shall receive ten dollars ($10.00) per period/hour for ten (10) to fourteen (14) students and twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per period/hour for fifteen (15) or more students.
Secondary Level a. The District will do its best to keep the total number of students to one hundred sixty (160) per certified educator. If a certified educator does exceed one hundred seventy- four (174) students a collaborative solution will be sought. Due to the group nature of music and physical education classes, these guidelines shall not apply. Every effort will be made to balance multi-sectioned classes.
