DUTIES OF THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. 1. Definition: CONTRACTOR is responsible for own taxes through a 1099 tax form at the end of every filing year; as well as your own health benefits, medical expenses, life insurance, and retirement fund. CONTRACTOR also acknowledges that CONTRACTOR will always abide, until your very last day of working with this company, by all of the company policies and guidelines delineated hereinafter. CONTRACTOR is absolutely responsible for your own massage equipment (table/chair), oil/creams and all other supplies as well as own transportation, performance, behavior, attitude, appearance and integrity.

DUTIES OF THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. The Independent Contractor is hereby retained by AARC as a self-employed business person to sell travel and travel services to the public on behalf of AARC.
DUTIES OF THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR is hereby considered by the AGENCY as a self-employed businessperson or a legal entity to sell travel and travel services to the public.
DUTIES OF THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall not place his financial interest ahead of his client’s interests at any time and shall strive to keep his client’s interests paramount at all times. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall not misrepresent any product or service offered by ERS and its affiliated insurance companies. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall conduct his business in a legal, ethical, honest and fair manner and in the best interest of his clients and ERS The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall at all times remain current on his continuing education requirements so as to remain knowledgeable in representing ERS and its affiliated insurance companies. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall not solicit nor accept any funds from his client that are not made payable directly to an ERS affiliated insurance company. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall submit within 24 hours of completion by the client all applications for insurance policies solicited hereunder to ERS for suitability and compliance review prior to submittal to ERS’s affiliated insurance companies. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall promptly obtain cooperation from clients for all underwriting requirements necessary for underwriting approval. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall, within 24 hours of policy receipt, deliver and obtain delivery receipts for all issued policies. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the training and supervision of his downline recruits. Should ERS change its association with any insurance company, the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall transfer his appointments and coding to ERS’s new affiliated insurance company. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses and permits required by the appropriate governing authorities in doing business under this Agreement. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining Errors and Omissions insurance coverage for his insurance activities that covers ERS, its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliated insurance companies from liability from the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR’s errors and omissions. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR shall protect and preserve the reputation, integrity and dignity of ERS and its affiliated insurance companies at all times and shall immediately report to ERS any improper behavior, violations, citations, warnings, for which INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR has knowledge.

  • Duties of the Contractor shall be to provide services in accordance with Exhibit A, Statement of Work, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. The performance of these duties shall be at times and places within the limits of District policy at the discretion of the Contractor.

Party will on request provide to the Agency of Human Services information pertaining to the classification of its employees to include the basis for the classification. Failure to comply with these obligations may result in termination of this Agreement.

  • Responsibilities of the Contractor The Contractor shall provide all technical and professional expertise, knowledge, management, and other resources required for accomplishing all aspects of the tasks and associated activities identified in the Scope of Work. In the event that the need arises for the Contractor to perform services beyond those stated in the Scope of Work, the Contractor and the City shall negotiate mutually agreeable terms and compensation for completing the additional services.

  • Capacity/Independent Contractor 15. In providing the Services under this Agreement it is expressly agreed that the Contractor is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee.   • RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR 27.1 Each Party is an independent contractor, and has and hereby retains the right to exercise full control of and supervision over its own performance of its obligations under this Agreement and retains full control over the employment, direction, compensation and discharge of its employees assisting in the performance of such obligations.   • Duties of Servicer Generally The Servicer’s duties in general shall include management, servicing and administration of the Recovery Property; obtaining meter reads, calculating electric usage, billing, collections and posting of all payments in respect of the Recovery Property; responding to inquiries by Consumers, the CPUC, or any federal, local or other state governmental authorities with respect to the Recovery Property; delivering Bills to Consumers and ESPs, processing and depositing collections and making periodic remittances pursuant to the Financing Order and each Tariff; furnishing periodic reports to the Issuer, the Indenture Trustee and the Rating Agencies; and taking action in connection with True-Up Adjustments as set forth herein. Certain of the duties set forth above may be performed by ESPs pursuant to ESP Service Agreements if such ESPs satisfy the creditworthiness requirements as set forth in PG&E’s Electric Rule 22.P., “Credit Requirements.” Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, the duties of the Servicer set forth in this Servicing Agreement shall be qualified in their entirety by any CPUC Regulations, the Financing Order and the U.S. federal securities laws and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, including Regulation AB, as in effect at the time such duties are to be performed. Without limiting the generality of this Section 3.01(a), in furtherance of the foregoing, the Servicer hereby agrees that it shall also have, and shall comply with, the duties and responsibilities relating to data acquisition, usage and xxxx calculation, billing, customer service functions, collections, payment processing and remittance set forth in Annex I hereto, as it may be amended from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, the term “usage” when used herein includes references to both kilowatt hour consumption and kilowatt demand.
