Climatic & Isolation Allowance. (a) (i) Subject to sub-clause (b) persons employed in organisations in places situated upon or to the west of a line drawn as herein specified shall be paid the weekly allowance set out in Item 19 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement in addition to the salary to which they are otherwise entitled.

The line shall be drawn as follows: viz., commencing at Tocumwal and thence to the following towns in the order stated, namely: Xxxxxxxx; Narrandera; Leeton; Peak Hill; Gilgandra; Dunedoo; Coolah; Boggabri; Inverell; and Xxxxxxx.

  • Isolation Allowance 3.23.1 An employee whose work requires that they reside at an isolated locality as outlined in clause 3.23.5 or 3.23.6 below, will receive an isolation allowance.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents cents) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours.   • Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.

  • TERMINATION ALLOWANCE In the event of closure of all or part of the Employer’s retail store, which results in the permanent lay-off of any employees, the employer agrees to pay each employee so affected, in accordance with Company policy, the following: • Less than one (1) completed year of service: according to Employment Standards (if any). • A year or more but less than five (5) completed years of service: one (1) week’s pay for each completed year of service. • More than five (5) completed years of service: five (5) weeks for the first five (5) years of service plus one and a half (1.5) weeks per completed year of service for each subsequent year up to a maximum of thirty (30) weeks in total.

  • - Separation Allowances (a) Where an employee resigns within 30 days after receiving notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of continuous service to a maximum of twelve (12) weeks' pay, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of three thousand ($3,000) dollars.
