CITY OVERVIEW. North Miami, Florida (pop. 60, 000) is a diverse community, ideally located midway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and encompasses approximately 9.5 square miles. As the fifth largest City of Miami-Dade County, North Miami is committed to growth in its business community, while also focusing on issues such as education, the arts, leisure activities and sustainability to provide a viable future for our residents and preserve the City’s rich history since its incorporation in 1926. The City currently has 550+ employees and provides a wide range of governmental services including public safety / police services, parks and recreation, public works, water and sewer, planning, building and zoning, code enforcement, and community development to its citizens. The City is a very large consumer of goods and services and the purchasing decisions of our employees and Contractors can positively or negatively affect the environment. By including environmental considerations in our procurement decision s, along with our traditional concerns with price, performance and availability, we will remain fiscally responsible while promoting practices that improve public health and safety, reduce pollution, and conserve natural resources.

CITY OVERVIEW. The City of Needles is located in eastern San Bernardino County and is immediately adjacent to the Colorado River along the border of California and Arizona. The Southern tip of Nevada is located within ten (10) miles of the Northern tip of the City limits of the City of Needles. The current population of Needles is 5,353 (January 1, 2021). The City encompasses about 31 square miles and is part of what is commonly referred to as the Colorado River Region which includes the Arizona communities of Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Fort Mohave (unincorporated) and Laughlin, Nevada. The community has Interstate 40 running through it (west to east) and Interstate 95 (north to south).

The purpose of this grant is to implement a Transformation Plan that has been developed through a local planning process and furthers the goals of the Choice Neighborhoods Program. The core goals of Choice Neighborhoods are:

  • General Overview This is an SLA between the Customer and UNM IT to document the provision of:  The Department Web Hosting service;  The general levels of response, availability, and maintenance associated with these services;  The responsibilities of UNM IT as a provider of these services;  The responsibilities of the Customers and Web Admins and Developers (Users) receiving these service;  The financial arrangements associated with the service. This SLA shall be effective as of the Effective Date set forth on the cover page and will continue until revised or terminated.

  • Access to Project Site Redeveloper shall permit the representatives of the City to enter Project Site at any and all reasonable times, as the City may deem necessary for the purposes of this Redevelopment Agreement, including but not limited to work and inspection of all work being performed in connection with the construction of the Redeveloper Improvements. Similarly, the City shall permit Redeveloper such entry upon the public rights of way for such purposes. No compensation shall be payable nor shall any charges be made in any form by any party for the access or inspection provided for in this Section. The City’s right of access granted under this Section shall terminate upon issuance by the City of the Redeveloper’s Certificate of Completion of Redeveloper Improvements. Notwithstanding the above, Redeveloper shall not be relieved of the provisions contained in Chapter 14.29 of the Lincoln Municipal Code regarding the use of streets for private construction purposes.
