Community Development. 1. Support the mission of Residence Life & Housing in building a strong community on all levels. a. Create an environment where students are able to sleep and study. b. Serve as an ambassador of Residence Life & Housing and the Division of Student Life. 2. Facilitate and encourage the development of a sense of community within your assigned area. a. Be personally acquainted with each person on your floor or section. b. Be available and visible in your area. c. Be friendly and outgoing. d. Accept and keep confidences; maintain privacy. e. Visit students in their room. f. Convey an openness and receptivity to all residents. g. Facilitate intellectual and social connections between residents.
Community Development. The Company shall maintain and support partnerships with local xxxxxxxx of commerce and business organizations, including those representing predominately minority owned, women owned and disadvantaged businesses, to preserve and strengthen open communication channels and enhance opportunities for minority owned, women owned and disadvantaged businesses to contract with the Company.

Giving priority to scheduling capital improvements that are coordinated with and meet the capital needs identified in the School Board’s 5-Year District Facilities Work Program; b. Providing incentives to the private sector to identify and implement creative solutions to developing adequate school facilities for residential developments; c. Targeting community development improvements in older and distressed neighborhoods near schools; and d. Working to address and resolve multi-jurisdictional public school issues.

Community Development. It is the objective of the Parties that the Project shall be carried out in a manner that is consistent with the continuing economic and social viability of communities located in the Concession Area, or that have formed, and may form, as a result of the Project, in the following manner: (a) Project Company shall assist and advise Government, when requested, in its planning for infrastructures and local development (including the construction of schooling and health facilities etc.) that the Parties may consider that are useful to the Project and to the existing and future industries and the activities in the immediate vicinity of the Concession Area. Thereafter, Project Company shall in good faith cooperate with Government’s efforts concerning the realization of such plans and programs. (b) Nothing in this Section shall obligate Project Company to make any significant expenditure or incur any material costs beyond the amounts which it would have made or incurred in the ordinary course of its business in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. (c) Project Company shall contribute development funding to villages surrounding the Concession Area and/or those directly impacted by the Project due to their proximity to the Concession Area as identified on the Land Use Map and agreed between the Parties and in accordance with the Environmental and Social Reports (“Community Development Fund”).
Community Development. The parties agree that if College of the Rockies credit is granted to a student of a contract training course, during that course, or within two (2) months of the completion of the course, the instructional assignment for that contract training course will be considered bargaining unit work. If the Instructor of the course has not already been compensated at bargaining unit rates or greater, s/he will be entitled to compensation at her/his applicable bargaining unit rate.
