Community Development. 8.8.2: supply of electricity to isolated northern communities (by Hydro-Québec) in respect to Waskaganish and Whapmagoostui, subject to Hydro-Québec maintaining the current arrangements as to the supply of electricity to Whapmagoostui and subject to the connection by Hydro-Québec to the Hydro-Québec network of Waskaganish within five (5) years hereof and of Whapmagoostui as soon as possible as provided in a separate agreement between Hydro-Québec and the Cree Regional Authority; - 8.14.3: study by the Société d’énergie de la Baie ▇▇▇▇▇ and Hydro-Québec of the implementation of a training program for the Crees; - 28.9.1, 28.9.2, 28.9.5: training programs or facilities, offices, job recruitment and placement services;

Community Development. It is the objective of the Parties that the Project shall be carried out in a manner that is consistent with the continuing economic and social viability of communities located in the Concession Area, or that have formed, and may form, as a result of the Project, in the following manner:
(a) Project Company shall assist and advise Government, when requested, in its planning for infrastructures and local development (including the construction of schooling and health facilities etc.) that the Parties may consider that are useful to the Project and to the existing and future industries and the activities in the immediate vicinity of the Concession Area. Thereafter, Project Company shall in good faith cooperate with Government’s efforts concerning the realization of such plans and programs.
(b) Nothing in this Section shall obligate Project Company to make any significant expenditure or incur any material costs beyond the amounts which it would have made or incurred in the ordinary course of its business in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
(c) Project Company shall contribute development funding to villages surrounding the Concession Area and/or those directly impacted by the Project due to their proximity to the Concession Area as identified on the Land Use Map and agreed between the Parties and in accordance with the Environmental and Social Reports (“Community Development Fund”).
Community Development. 1. Support the mission of Residence Life & Housing in building a strong community on all levels.
a. Create an environment where students are able to sleep and study.
b. Serve as an ambassador of Residence Life & Housing and the Division of Student Life.
2. Facilitate and encourage the development of a sense of community within your assigned area.
a. Be personally acquainted with each person on your floor or section.
b. Be available and visible in your area.
c. Be friendly and outgoing.
d. Accept and keep confidences; maintain privacy.
e. Visit students in their room.
f. Convey an openness and receptivity to all residents.
g. Facilitate intellectual and social connections between residents.
Community Development. Community Development shall be subject to Applicable Law and to public policy of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Community Development. The Company shall maintain and support partnerships with local ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ of commerce and business organizations, including those representing predominately minority owned, women owned and disadvantaged businesses, to preserve and strengthen open communication channels and enhance opportunities for minority owned, women owned and disadvantaged businesses to contract with the Company.

a. Giving priority to scheduling capital improvements that are coordinated with and meet the capital needs identified in the School Board’s 5-Year District Facilities Work Program;
b. Providing incentives to the private sector to identify and implement creative solutions to developing adequate school facilities for residential developments;
c. Targeting community development improvements in older and distressed neighborhoods near schools; and
d. Working to address and resolve multi-jurisdictional public school issues.
Community Development. Contribution of Mountain Gorilla conservation to the economic development of the country, by reducing poverty near the sanctuaries and reserves, in cooperation with the private sector and bilateral/multilateral partners. Community development projects will be promoted, especially road planning, school expansion, health centers and waterworks, and general support to alternate activities generating money.
Community Development a. Actively engage with residents to build positive relationships and address any concerns.
b. Promote inclusivity and celebrate the diversity of the residential community.
c. Complete individual connections and programming as outlined in the 2024-2025 Programming Model.
Community Development. 1. Provision of technical assistance to support village communities and build capacity in respect of the Project activities carried out under Part C of the Project, including community mobilization and the development and management of RWSS sector facilities and services.
2. Provision of technical assistance to support engineering design and construction supervision for carrying out activities under Part C of the Project.
