Certificate of professional competence. Article 1 - Scope This Section applies to the activity of driving by anyone employed or used by a road haulage operator of a Party undertaking journeys referred to in Article ROAD.4 [Transport of goods between, through and within the territories of the Parties] of this Agreement and using vehicles for which a driving licence of category C1, C1+E, C or C+E, or a driving licence recognised as equivalent by the Specialised Committee on Road Transport, is required. Article 2 - Exemptions A certificate of professional competence (CPC) is not required for drivers of vehicles:

Certificate of professional competence. Where applicable you may be required to obtain a Driving Certificate of Professional Competence Driver CPC, also known as a Driver Qualification Card. You must carry your Driver CPC at all times whilst driving and if your Driver CPC is either lost or stolen you must report this immediately. *DIGITAL TACHOGRAPH DRIVER SMART CARD / ANALOGUE TACHOGRAPH You are required to abide by legislation regarding the requirement to ensure that you use your Tachograph, that any records relating to this are correct at all times and available for inspection by authorised bodies. You must keep a minimum of 28 days driving information on your person when driving and it is your responsibility to ensure that you download this information. You must also return Tachographs no longer than 42 days after they have been used. Under no circumstances should records be amended or tampered with in any way. Breach of these regulations may lead to disciplinary action in accordance with our procedures. If you have another driver in the vehicle, possibly for training purposes, you must account for the time appropriately on the Tachograph by using the driver 2 slot. Where Tachographs are not fitted or where they are not operating due to a fault you must ensure a manual record is kept. *DISCLOSURE AND BARRING CERTIFICATE(S) Your initial engagement is conditional upon the provision of a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Certificate of a level appropriate to your post. You may be required to undertake subsequent criminal record checks from time to time during your engagement as deemed appropriate by the Company. In the event that such certificate(s) are not supplied your engagement with us will be terminated. Data collected about criminal convictions will be processed in line with the Data Protection Act. You may read more about the data we hold on you, why we hold it and the lawful basis that applies in the employee privacy notice. *CONVICTIONS AND OFFENCES During your engagement, you are required to immediately report to the Company any convictions or offences with which you are charged, including traffic offences.   • Scope of Professional Services 3.1 On the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, COUNTY hereby engages CONTRACTOR to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the Project/Service in accordance with the Scope of Services, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Attachment A, as modified or clarified by Addendum(s) # , dated , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Attachment B.   • INDEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of professional services or other activities of an independent character shall be taxable only in that State except in the following circumstances, when such income may also be taxed in the other Contracting State:

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Physician's Statement Employees requesting Temporary Disability Leave shall submit to the Chief, through the chain of command, a written statement from their physician verifying their condition, recommending limited duty or leave of absence, and describing their limitations and prognosis. The Chief may refer employees for additional evaluation of their condition. A written medical release from a physician shall be submitted prior to an employee's return to full or limited duty.

  • Cultural Competence A. The CONTRACTOR shall participate in the State's efforts to promote the delivery of services in a culturally competent manner to all beneficiaries, including those with limited English proficiency and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation or gender identity.
