Car Hire In the event of an agreed repair and provided that the repair time is in accordance with Autodata schedules is in excess of 8 hours, a maximum of £20 per day inclusive of VAT (excluding petrol and insurance) may be reimbursed for up to a maximum of 5 days, (related to the actual repair times from the time repairs Commence) and provided that car hire is authorised by us prior to the start of the hire period. This will form part of the maximum claim liability.

Only the following listed parts are covered by this agreement. Engine - internal components Valve assembly, inlet and exhaust valves, valve guides and springs (excluding burnt valves and decokes), cylinder head (excluding cracks and overheating damage), stretched head bolts, push rods, camshaft and cam followers, timing chains and timing chain tensioner, oil pump, pistons and rings, cylinder bores, gudgeon pins, con rods and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, flywheel and ring gear, distributor drive. Camshaft Timing Belt Providing there is proof that the manufacturer’s replacement recommendations have been complied with and they are free from oil contamination. Manual Gearbox & Transfer Box - internal components only Gears, shafts, synchromesh hubs, selectors, bearings, speedometer drive, overdrive units (when fitted), solenoid (excluding gear cables, linkages, electronic actuators). Automatic Gearbox Gears, oil pump, shafts, clutches, brake bands, bearings, governors, servos, torque converter, drive plate, valve block, modulator valve, speedometer drive. Drive System Crown wheel, pinion, half shafts, planet gears, bevel gears and bearings.

Parts Body, paint, glass, interior/exterior trim, entertainment/communication systems and connected equipment including satellite navigation. Cracked or porous cylinder heads and bores, skimming/pressure testing, burnt valves, catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters, wheels, airbag and system, electrical wiring and wiring looms. Wear and tear/service items and other components subject to routine maintenance or periodic repair or replacement such as plugs, HT leads, brake frictional material, clutch facings, wiper blades/rubbers, auxiliary belts, hoses, pipes, cables, light bulbs/units, batteries, tyres and exhaust systems, airbag and system, gas bottles, soft furnishings, carpets, floor coverings, work surfaces and all similar decor. Windows, window catches, stays and associated fittings. Adjustment of blinds, hinges, catches, stays and doors. Replacement of bulbs, fluorescent tubes, fuses and electrical connections. Natural movement of internal doors and furniture. The Dealer shall not be liable under the Mechanical Breakdown Warranty Agreement:
Casings. An allowance of $10 a day will be paid to any approved and competent Casings Room operator Leading Hand: An allowance of $15 a day shall be paid to the leading hand. First Aid: A first aid allowance of $2.13 per day shall be paid to any appropriately qualified employee who is required by the Company to perform first aid duties. The rates shown above are the minimum rates payable. Those who were employed in the Mutton Room Boning Team (including B Grade Boners) or the Slaughtering team, on the date on which the agreement is approved shall be paid at a weekly rate agreed in writing between the Employer and the individual employee. Such an Employee can only lose their place on the team by termination of their employment by the employer or employee or removal from the team using the disciplinary process, or their inability to perform the inherent requirements of their position. SCHEDULE B CONTINUOUS SERVICE AND THE CALCULATION OF NOMINAL HOURS Consistent with the provisions of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (Section 241), the following shall apply:

The Dealer shall not be liable under the Mechanical Breakdown Warranty Agreement:
Casings. Where damage to the casings is caused by damage to any of the Covered Components listed at 7.1 to 7.12 above.
