Attendance at Court or Tribunal. 24.01 A Teacher shall be granted a leave of absence from duty with pay and no loss of sick leave credits by reason of a summons to serve as a juror, or a subpoena as a witness in any proceedings to which she/he is not party or one of the persons charged, provided that the Teacher pays to the Board any fee, exclusive of traveling allowances and living expenses that she/he receives as a juror or witness.
