Subpoena as a Witness. 7.7.1 An employee subpoenaed as a witness in a legal action which is not of his/her own contrivance or connivance, shall be allowed a paid absence from duty to appear as subpoenaed. However, the employee shall demand a witness fee and forward any witness fee received to the District.
