Recognition of Years of Experience for Grid Placement. 1.4.9.1 The years of experience of each member as a regular teacher or as an Occasional Teacher, shall be determined on September 1st of each school year for purposes of placement of Long Term Occasional Teachers on the salary grid (Article 6). Every part of a year totalling the equivalent of 115 days of experience shall be recognized on the grid to correspond to the number of completed years to which a year shall be added.
