Talon means a talon attached on issue to a Definitive Bearer Note (other than a Zero Coupon Note) which is exchangeable in accordance with its provisions for further Coupons appertaining to the Note, the talon being in or substantially in the form set out in Part 7 of Schedule 5 or in such other form as may be agreed between the relevant Issuer, the Principal Paying Agent and the relevant Dealer and includes any replacements for Talons issued pursuant to Condition 11.

• The Replacement Agent shall, on issuing a replacement Bearer Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon, forthwith inform the other Agents of its certificate number and of the one that it replaces.

• If a Bearer Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon that has been replaced is presented to an Agent for payment or exchange, that Agent shall forthwith inform the Fiscal Agent, in the case of Bearer Notes, or the Registrar, in the case of Registered Notes, which shall so inform the Issuer.

Talon or “Talons” means the talon or talons (if any) appertaining to, and exchangeable in accordance with the provisions therein contained for further Coupons appertaining to, the Definitive Covered Bonds (other than Zero Coupon Covered Bonds), such talons being in the form or substantially in the form set out in Part VI of Schedule 2 to the Trust Deed or in such other form as may be agreed between the Issuer, the Issuing and Paying Agent, the Bond Trustee and the relevant Dealer(s) and includes any replacements for Talons issued pursuant to Condition 12 (Replacement of Covered Bonds);

Talon means bearer talons appertaining to Definitive Bearer Notes and for the time being outstanding or, as the context may require, a specific number thereof.

Talon. ’ and ‘‘Talons’’ means the talons for further Receipts and further Coupons attached to the Definitive Bearer Covered Bonds on issue.
