The Replacement Agent shall, on issuing a replacement Bearer Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon, forthwith inform the other Agents of its certificate number and of the one that it replaces.
In acting under this Agreement the Agents shall have no obligation towards or relationship of agency or trust with the holder of any Note, Receipt, Coupon or Talon.
Further Coupon sheets issued on surrender of Talons shall carry the same serial number as the surrendered Talon.
The Issuer may however adopt and use the signature of any person who at the date of signing a Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon is a duly authorised signatory of the Issuer even if, before the Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon is issued, he ceases for whatever reason to hold such office and the Notes, Certificates, Receipts, Coupons or Talons issued in such circumstances shall nevertheless be (or, in the case of Certificates, represent) valid and binding obligations of the Issuer.
If a Bearer Note, Certificate, Receipt, Coupon or Talon that has been replaced is presented to an Agent for payment or exchange, that Agent shall forthwith inform the Fiscal Agent, in the case of Bearer Notes, or the Registrar, in the case of Registered Notes, which shall so inform the Issuer.
