The Agent shall in respect of the Coupons of each maturity retain (in the case of Coupons other than Talons) until the expiry of ten years from the Relevant Date in respect of such Coupons and (in the case of Talons) indefinitely either all paid or exchanged Coupons of that maturity or a list of the serial numbers of Coupons of that maturity still remaining unpaid or unexchanged.
Further Coupon sheets issued on surrender of Talons shall carry the same serial number as the surrendered Talon.
Mutilated or defaced Notes, Receipts, Coupons or Talons must be surrendered before replacements will be issued.
Whenever replacement Receipts, Coupons or Talons are issued, the Agent shall also notify the other Paying Agents of the maturity dates of the lost, stolen, mutilated, defaced or destroyed Receipts, Coupons or Talons and of the replacement Receipts, Coupons or Talons issued.
In addition, the Issuer shall immediately notify the Agent in writing of all Notes which are purchased on behalf of the Issuer or any of its Subsidiaries and all such Notes surrendered to a Paying Agent for cancellation, together (in the case of Definitive Notes) with all unmatured Receipts, Coupons or Talons (if any) attached to them or surrendered with them, shall be cancelled by the Paying Agent to which they are surrendered.
