Substantial Completion of the Ballpark definition

Substantial Completion of the Ballpark means: (a) that the Padres’ offices, clubhouse and other exclusive spaces are ready for occupancy, (b) that all other areas of the Ballpark have been finished to the Padres’ reasonable satisfaction in accordance with the Final Baseline Ballpark Program and the plans for the Ballpark delivered by PCL to the City pursuant to Section 4.01 as modified by any Major Change Orders approved in accordance with Section 4.04 and any other Change Orders delivered by PCL to the City pursuant to Section 4.04, and the plans for the City-Provided Parking Facilities, subject only to contractors’ punch lists and (c) a temporary certificate of occupancy has been issued for all portions of the Ballpark (other than the retail lease areas and for those types of improvements for which the appropriate governmental authority does not issue certificates of occupancy).

Related to Substantial Completion of the Ballpark

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.
