service apparatus definition

service apparatus means any works, apparatus or system which is or is capable of being or is intended to be used for the purpose of conveying, measuring, or controlling electricity supplied from any distribution works to the position on any premises at which delivery of the electricity is, is capable of being, or is intended to be, made to the consumer, and includes any part of the service apparatus, and any other equipment or plant used in conjunction therewith, whether or not the property of a supply authority or network operator;
service apparatus means any apparatus, works or system, any part of it or any equipment or plant used in conjunction with it that is, is capable of being, or is intended to be used for conveying, measuring, or controlling gas supplied from any distribution works to the position on any premises at which delivery of gas is, is capable of being, or is intended to be, made to a consumer.

  • Control apparatus means any device which prevents or controls the emission of any air contaminant directly or indirectly into the outdoor atmosphere.

  • Manufacturing means all activities related to the manufacture of a Compound, including planning, purchasing, manufacture, processing, compounding, storage, filling, packaging, waste disposal, labeling, leafleting, testing, quality assurance, sample retention, stability testing, release, dispatch and supply, as applicable.

  • Consumables and medical devices means (consumables) items that require regular replacement (e.g. batteries) to keep a medical device (such as a hearing aid) operational. Many medical devices require consumables.

  • Tools means integrated development environments (IDE), software development kits (SDK), applications, editors, application programming interfaces (“APIs”), templates, sample code, data integration connectors, and other similar developer software, documentation, quick start guides, and reference materials that are provided by SAP and utilized by Customer to create Content.

  • Electrical equipment means underground equipment that contains dielectric fluid that is necessary for the operation of equipment such as transformers and buried electrical cable.

  • Associated equipment means equipment that is used in conjunction with a radiographic exposure device to make radiographic exposures that drives, guides, or comes in contact with the source, e.g., guide tube, control tube, control (drive) cable, removable source stop, “J” tube and collimator when it is used as an exposure head.

  • Diagnostic Services means services provided for the purpose of determining the nature and cause of a condition, ill- ness, or injury.

  • Beam monitoring system means a system designed and installed in the radiation head to detect and measure the radiation present in the useful beam.

  • Interface means the mixture occurring in pipeline operations between adjoining batches having similar or dissimilar physical characteristics.

The cabinet x-ray system is intended to contain at least that portion of a material being irradiated, provide radiation attenuation, and exclude personnel from its interior during generation of radiation. Included are all x-ray systems designed primarily for the inspection of carry-on baggage at airline, railroad, and bus terminals, and in similar facilities. An x-ray tube used within a shielded part of a building, or x-ray equipment that may temporarily or occasionally incorporate portable shielding, is not considered a cabinet x-ray system.

  • Sewage works means all facilities for collecting, pumping, treating, and disposing of sewage.

  • Network Interface Device or "NID" is a Network Element (including all of its features, functions and capabilities) that includes any means of Interconnection of End User Customer premises wiring to Qwest's distribution plant, such as a cross connect device used for that purpose. "New Service Provider" means the Party to which an End User Customer switches its local Exchange Service or the Party to which an End User Customer is porting its telephone number(s).
