Promotions Committee definition

Promotions Committee is all tenured faculty in a School, who are not being considered for promotion.
Promotions Committee means a committee designated by the Chief of Police consisting of three (3) Department lieutenants, one (1) Commander, the APD Personnel/Payroll Coordinator, one (1) union representative, and one (1) Human Resources Employment Testing Division representative as a non-voting observer. The committee will prepare and make recommendations for the Police Chief’s Directive.

  • The academic staff member shall be informed in writing at least one (1) week before the date of the meeting of the General Promotions Committee of the recommendation being carried forward to the General Promotions Committee by the appropriate Xxxx.

  • The candidate will submit three (3) names of persons whose references s/he would wish to place before the Promotions Committee.

  • Nominations Committee means the nominations committee established pursuant to Article 100(k).

  • Apprenticeship committee means those persons designated by the sponsor to act for it in the administration of the program. A committee may be “joint,” i.e., composed of an equal number of representatives of the employer(s) and of the employees represented by a bona fide collective bargaining agent(s), and is established to conduct, operate, or administer an apprenticeship program and enter into apprenticeship agreements with apprentices. A committee may be “unilateral” or “nonjoint” and shall mean a program sponsor in which a bona fide collective bargaining agent is not a participant.

  • Finance Committee means the Finance Committee of the University;

  • Audit Committee means the audit committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Development Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.4.1.

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.

  • Steering Committee has the meaning set forth in Section 2.

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • Regional Committee means the regional committee on school

  • Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Management Committee means in the case of a Competition which is an unincorporated association, the management committee elected to manage the running of the Competition and where the Competition is incorporated it means the Board of Directors appointed in accordance with the articles of association of that company.
