New Industrial Unit definition

New Industrial Unit means an industrial unit for the setting up of which effective steps were not taken prior to 14th June, 2002.
New Industrial Unit means an industrial unit where fixed capital investment has commenced on or after the effective date and which goes in to commercial production within two years for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and three years for the rest, from the date of starting first fixed capital investment.
New Industrial Unit means an industrial unit in which commercial production has commenced within five years from 01.04.2011.

New Industrial Unit means an industrial unit where fixed capital investment has commenced on or after the effective date and which goes into commercial production within 3 years for SSI, 5 years for medium and large industries, 6 years for mega industries with an investment of more than Rs. 500 crores from the date of starting first fixed capital investment :

New Industrial Unit means an industrial unit which commenced commercial production/operations on or after the 21st day of December 2022 but not later than 20th day of December 2032 or till such time as the Government may deem fit and proper.
