Commercial Production definition

Commercial Production means the operation of the Property or any portion thereof as a producing mine and the production of mineral products therefrom (excluding bulk sampling, pilot plant or test operations);
Commercial Production means production of Crude Oil or Condensate or Natural Gas or any combination of these from the Contract Area (excluding production for testing purposes) and delivery of the same at the relevant Delivery Point under a programme of regular production and sale.
Commercial Production means, and is deemed to have been achieved, when the concentrator processing ores, for other than testing purposes, has operated for a period of 30 consecutive production days at an average rate of not less than 60% of design capacity or, if a concentrator is not erected on the Property, when ores have been produced for a period of 30 consecutive production days at the rate of not less than 60% of the mining rate specified in a feasibility study recommending placing the Property in Commercial Production;

More Definitions of Commercial Production

Commercial Production means the commercial exploitation of Ore but does not include milling for the purpose of testing or milling by a pilot plant or during the initial tune-up period of a plant. Commercial Production will be deemed to have commenced:
