Scientific Information definition

Scientific Information means factual inputs, data, models, analyses, technical information, or scientific assessments related to such disciplines as the behavioral and social sciences, public health and medical sciences, life and earth sciences, engineering, or physical sciences. This definition includes any communication or representation of knowledge (e.g., facts or data, in any medium or form, including textual, numerical, graphic, cartographic, narrative, or audiovisual forms). This definition includes information that NRC disseminates from its Web page but does not include the provision of hyperlinks on a Web page to information that others disseminate. This definition excludes opinions where NRC’s presentation makes clear that an individual’s opinion, rather than a statement of fact or of the agency’s findings and conclusions, is being offered.
Scientific Information means any and all medical, toxicological, pharmacological, pre clinical, clinical and chemical data, specifications, medical uses, adverse reactions, formulation and quality control methods of or for the Compound and/or the Licensed Product, and further including without limitation all proprietary information submitted to relevant Regulatory Authorities to support a Drug Approval Application for and Marketing Approval of the Licensed Product in any country of the world.
Scientific Information means any and all non-public scientific, technical, business or financial information, in whatever form (written, oral or visual) relating specifically to programs based on ActRIIA, such as ACE-011, programs based on ActRIIB, such as ACE-031, programs based on ALK-1, such as ACE-041, programs based on antibodies that bind to Activin A and/or Activin B, and programs based on antibodies that bind to BMP3, disclosed by Acceleron to the Observer provided that such information relating specifically to programs based on ActRIIB, such as ACE-031 and programs based on ALK-1, such as ACE-041 disclosed by Acceleron to the Observer after December 20, 2007 shall not be considered Scientific Information hereunder.

  • The Right of First Negotiation shall in no way alter or affect F-DE’s ownership rights in and to the Scientific Information, Data and/or the Product outside of the Territory.
