OTHER RESEARCH. MBI acknowledges that:
OTHER RESEARCH. This Arrangement shall not prevent any of the Parties from engaging in other research activities alone or jointly with third parties, during and after the term of this Arrangement, even in subject areas identical or similar to that of this Arrangement, as long as the Party comply with their obligations in this Arrangement.
OTHER RESEARCH. The V/VS understands that UMass may be involved in similar research through other researchers on behalf of itself and others. UMass shall be free to continue such research. The V/VS shall not gain any rights via this agreement to other research.
OTHER RESEARCH. Kirin acknowledges and agrees that nothing in this Agreement shall prevent or otherwise hinder Dendreon from conducting, and Dendreon shall retain full rights to conduct, its own independent research and development work with respect to Dendreon Technology or any aspect thereof for any use or purpose outside the Kirin Territory or any use or purpose outside the Field in the Kirin Territory, and including conducting such research and development work with or on behalf of Third Party partners.
OTHER RESEARCH. The V/VS understands that ODU may be involved in similar research through other researchers on behalf of itself and others. ODU shall be free to continue such research. The V/VS shall not gain any rights via this agreement to other research.
OTHER RESEARCH. If requested by Chiron, Hyseq will provide for Chiron during the Collaboration Term research work offered by Hyseq from time to time in the ordinary course of its business other than the Gene Analysis (the "OTHER RESEARCH" and, collectively with the Gene Analysis, the "RESEARCH"). The Other Research may include, without limitation, further analysis of Chiron Results.
