Grant of Financial Assistance. Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, the OPWC hereby grants to the Recipient financial assistance not to exceed the amount, as set forth in Appendix C of this Agreement for the sole and express purpose of paying or reimbursing the costs certified to the OPWC under this Agreement for the completion of the Project.

Grant of Financial Assistance. The City will endeavor to provide financial assistance to Habitat on an annual basis as part of the normal budget preparation process and adoption. The annual allocation of funding shall be based on the availability of funds within the Affordable Housing Trust Fund and other factors as deemed appropriate by the City Commission, and shall be at the sole discretion of the City Commission. Following the first year’s allocation from the existing available housing trust funds, of $200,000 for lot acquisition, any future financial request by Habitat shall be done as part of the normal budget approval process by the City Commission and shall also include a report and documentation outlining the disposition of funds previously granted in order to verify the need for additional funding. Nothing in this Agreement shall commit the City for any future funding beyond the $200,000 referenced above, which shall be drawn from existing available housing trust funds. However, it is anticipated that a similar level of annual funding would be requested during the term of the Agreement.

Related to Grant of Financial Assistance

  • PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE GRANT As authorized by Section II of this Agreement for the sole and express purpose of financing the Project defined and described in Appendix A of this Agreement, the estimated costs of which are set forth and described in Appendix D of this Agreement, the OPWC hereby agrees to provide financial assistance, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, from the State Capital Improvements Fund which constitutes the proceeds of the Infrastructure Bonds, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000). This financial assistance shall be provided in the form of a Grant. The OPWC Grant Control No. is CE13T. Once this grant amount is fully expended, the loan amount, which is part of this Project Agreement, will be drawn on for disbursing the remaining OPWC obligations contained in this Agreement. An exception applies if the loan amount is necessitated for the local share. In which case, grant and loan assistance will be disbursed concurrently. LOAN

  • Conditions to Financial Assistance and its Disbursement The Grantor's obligations hereunder, including its obligation to make financial assistance available to the Recipient pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, are contingent upon compliance by the Recipient with the following conditions:

  • Audit Requirements for Recipients of State Financial Assistance For purposes of this paragraph, the word "Contractor" shall be deemed to mean "nonstate entity," as that term is defined in section 4-230 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Contractor shall provide for an annual financial audit acceptable to the Client Agency for any expenditure of State awarded funds made by the Contractor. Such audit shall include management letters and audit recommendations. The State Auditors of Public Accounts shall have access to all records and accounts for the fiscal year(s) in which the award was made. The Contractor shall comply with federal and State single audit standards as applicable.
