Crypto Assets definition

Crypto Assets mean Cryptocurrencies, their derivatives or other types of digitalized assets and any Cryptocurrency Addresses and any and all associated Wallets.
Crypto Assets herein shall be deemed as type of assets which can only and exclusively be transmitted by means of block-chain technology, including but not limited to digital coins and digital tokens and any other type of digital mediums of exchange, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, etc, to the full and absolute exempt of the securities of any kind.
Crypto Assets means any “blockchain assets” (i.e., any asset housed on, making use of, or connected to a blockchain through cryptographic ownership, including cryptocurrency coins and “utility” tokens).

Examples of Crypto Assets in a sentence

  • Trade Republic itself does not assume custody of Crypto Assets for the Customer.

  • Crypto Assets are held in centralized wallets by the Crypto Custodian commissioned by the Customer in accordance with its terms of use.

  • Trade Republic holds the Customer's Securities and uncertificated Securities in custody, with the exception of Crypto Assets acquired by the Customer.

  • Crypto Assets, on the other hand, are held in custody by a Crypto Custodian in accordance with Clause 11 of the Special Conditions for Trading in Crypto Assets (Appendix 2.5.).

  • If Trade Republic receives information from the Crypto Custodian or trading venue that affects the Customer's Crypto Assets, Trade Republic will notify the Customer of this information if it may have a significant impact on the Customer's legal position and notification of the Customer is necessary to protect the Customer's interests.

Crypto Assets means Cryptocurrencies and Stablecoins when mentioned jointly.
