Compound Patents definition

Compound Patents shall have meaning assigned to such term in Section 8.2.4(a).
Compound Patents means the patents and patent applications set out in Part II of Schedule 2;
Compound Patents means all patents and patent applications owned by ProTides as at the Commencement Date or at any time during the period of this Agreement which relate to protides of nucleosides, including:

Examples of Compound Patents in a sentence

  • At the time each such PCT Application enters the national or regional phase in any country in the Santaris Territory, Santaris shall thereafter direct the filing, prosecution (including any interferences, oppositions, reissuance, and re-examinations) and maintenance of all LNA Compound Patents in countries in the Santaris Territory.

  • The Parties shall cooperate with each other in obtaining patent term restoration, extensions or supplemental protection certificates or their equivalents in any country in the Enzon Territory where applicable to LNA Compound Patents.

  • The technical guidelines provide guidance on system planning and design.

  • Within sixty (60) days after the end of each Enzon Quarter, each Party shall submit to the other Party an accounting of all costs Enzon incurs with regard to the filing and prosecution of such priority and PCT Applications for the LNA Compound Patents during that quarter and within thirty (30) days thereafter, the applicable Party shall reimburse the other Party such amount as may be required in accordance with the foregoing agreed allocation of such costs.

  • If either Party exercises the rights conferred in this Section 8.3 in respect of LNA Compound Patents and recovers any damages or other sums in such action, suit or proceeding or in settlement thereof in respect of the Enzon Territory, such damages or other sums recovered shall first be applied to all out-of-pocket costs and expenses incurred by such Party in connection therewith, including attorneys fees.


More Definitions of Compound Patents

Compound Patents shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.2.2.
Compound Patents means the valid and/or pending Patents which [****].

Compound Patents means patent applications and patents owned or controlled (in the sense of having a right to license or sublicense to others) by COMPOUND in the field of In vitro virus/PROfusion technology, including those licensed to COMPOUND from The General Hospital Corporation with the right to sublicense, as listed in Annex B attached hereto and made a part hereof, including any divisions, reissues, continuations, continuations-in-part, extensions and reexaminations thereof and any patents issued or granted on such patent applications, and foreign counterparts thereof. It is confirmed that COMPOUND Patents that claim In vitro virus/PROfusion technology and additional technology shall be considered and interpreted as COMPOUND Patents only with respect to that portion of the claimed technology that is In vitro virus/PROfusion technology, but shall not be considered or interpreted as COMPOUND Patents with respect to that portion of the claimed technology that is not In vitro virus/PROfusion technology.
Compound Patents means the patents licensed by Licensor under the Exclusive License Agreement, including those listed on Appendix 1A (Compound Patents).
Compound Patents means (a) all Patents licensed to Licensor pursuant to any of the 3SBio Agreements; and (b) all Patents solely related to the Compound and reasonably necessary or reasonably useful for the Exploitation of the Product in the Field in the Territory, in the case of (b) to the extent such Patents are Controlled by Licensor or its Affiliates as of immediately prior to the Effective Date or during the Term and are not otherwise covered by (a). Compound Patents existing as of the Execution Date are set forth in Annex A-1.
