Competition Marks definition

Competition Marks means the following marks (in any language):
Competition Marks means the (i) Official Emblem; (ii) Official Mascot; (iii) Official Slogan; (iv) Host City Composite Logo; (v) the Host City Poster; (vi) the Official Trophy (expressly excluding three dimensional copies thereof); (vii) any official Competition title (in any language); (viii) the Host City Designation; (ix) the official Competition design as developed by FIFA; and (x) any other xxxx, design, slogan, emblem, title or other identification or symbol developed by FIFA and selected by FIFA for the official use in connection with the Competitions.
Competition Marks means the following marks or any permutations thereof in any language or font, whether registered or otherwise protected by laws of intellectual property: • the word mark “FIFA World Cup™”;• the word mark “World Cup” (including the equivalent in all languages or scripts);• the word marks “2018 FIFA World Cup™ Qualifiers” and “2018 FIFA World Cup™ Qualifying Competition” including the “™”in all versions);• the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy;• the Official Emblem of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™;• the Official Mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™;• (if applicable) the Official Slogan of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ in the Russian and English version;• The Official Look of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ and its individual elements;• the Official Poster of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™;• the Official Host City Composite Logos of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™;• the Official Host City Posters of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™; and• the Competition Names (as defined below).

Examples of Competition Marks in a sentence

  • Except for use of the words “World Cup” in a standard font for the sole purpose of informing members of the public of the time and place of a Public Viewing Event, an Exhibitor shall not use, nor authorise the use of, any Competition Marks (or any part thereof) or any symbol, emblem, logo, mark or designation which, in FIFA’s opinion, is similar to, or is a derivation or imitation of, any of the Competition Marks.

  • Except for use of the words “World Cup” in a standard font for the sole purpose of informing members of the public of the time and place of a Public Viewing Event, an Exhibitor shall not use, nor authorise the use of, any Competition Mark (or any part thereof) or any symbol, emblem, logo, mark or designation which, in FIFA’s opinion, is similar to, or is a derivation or imitation of, any of the Competition Marks.

  • The Host City agrees and acknowledges that it does not, by virtue of this Host City Agreement, obtain, or become entitled to claim, any right, title or interest in or to the Competition Marks, except for the rights of use specifically granted under this Host City Agreement.

  • The Host City agrees and acknowledges shall not use any Competition Marks prior to its appointment as host city of the Competitions.

  • The Host City shall not be entitled to use any of the Competition Marks except as specifically permitted in this Host City Agreement in Clauses 5.1 to 5.3 above or as part of the Host City Dressing material referred to in Clause 4.5 above.

Competition Marks means any marks that FIFA may adopt in respect of the Competition from time to time, which may include:
Competition Marks means the following marks (in any language):  the word mark “FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™” (including the equivalent in all languages) and any permutation thereof, whether registered or unregistered; the word mark “World Cup” (including the equivalent in all languages); the Official Emblem of the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™; the Official Mascot of the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™ and the name of the Official Mascot, both to be developed and published by FIFA subsequent to the enactment of these Regulations (both if applicable); the Original Trophy, an image of which is included in the attached appendix for informational purposes only; the Official Poster of the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™, to be developed and published by FIFA subsequent to the enactment of these Regulations (if applicable); the Competition Name (as defined below).
Competition Marks means any & all current & future competition Trademark’s &/or logos, copyrights &/or designs whether or not registered or applied for & whether registered in part or in whole including any & or present & future names, designations, symbols, logos or identifying music or sounds of Football Delhi Senior Division League or the Competition, the official logo, the Competition Trophy & other artistic & autographic representations in one, two or three dimensional proportions used by or in association with the Competition.

Competition Marks means the following marks (in any language):  the word mark ‘FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™’ (including the equivalent in all languages) and any permutation thereof, whether registered or unregistered; the word mark “World Cup” (including the equivalent in all languages); the Official Emblem of the Competition, to be developed and published by FIFA subsequent to the enactment of these Media and Marketing Regulations; each if applicable, the official mascot of the Competition and the name of the official mascot, both to be developed and published by FIFA subsequent to the enactment of these Media and Marketing Regulations; the Trophy, an image of which is included in the attached appendix for informational purposes only; if applicable, the official poster of the Competition, to be developed and published by FIFA subsequent to the enactment of these Media and Marketing Regulations; and the Competition Name (as defined below).
