Career Start Traineeship definition

Career Start Traineeship means a system of training with an employer covered by Clause 2 - Scope of this award comprising structured on-the-job training (as defined) in a Technical and Further Education College, or other training provider(s) approved by the Training Authority of Tasmania in accordance with a training agreement (as defined).
Career Start Traineeship means a system of training with an employee covered by Clause 2 - SCOPE, of this award, PROVIDED THAT such system of training shall apply only to persons engaged in the occupation of Greenkeeper. The Career Start Traineeship shall comprise structured off-the-job training (as defined) in a Technical and Further Education College or other training provider(s) approved by the Tasmanian State Training Authority, or other Statutory Authority as part of a training agreement (as defined).

Examples of Career Start Traineeship in a sentence

  • Any existing award provisions for the Australian Traineeship System (ATS) or the Career Start Traineeship (CST) shall not apply to any employer bound by this award except in relation to ATS or CST trainees who commenced a Traineeship with the employer before the employer was bound by this Appendix.

  • Any existing award provisions for the Australian Traineeship System (ATS) or the Career Start Traineeship (CST) shall not apply to any employer bound by this Award, except in relation to ATS or CST trainees who commenced a traineeship with the employer before the employer was bound by this Award.

Related to Career Start Traineeship

  • Traineeship means a system of training which has been approved by the appropriate state training authority, or which has been approved on an interim basis by the National Employment and Training Taskforce (NETTFORCE), until final approval is granted by the relevant state training authority.

  • Parties to a Traineeship Scheme means the employer organisation and/or the employer and the union involved in the consultation and negotiation required for the approval of a traineeship scheme.

  • Traineeship Scheme means an approved traineeship applicable to a group or class of employees or to an industry or sector of an industry or an enterprise. A traineeship scheme shall not be given approval unless consultation and negotiation with the union upon the terms of the proposed traineeship scheme and the traineeship have occurred. An application for approval of a traineeship scheme shall identify the union and demonstrate to the satisfaction of the approving authority that the abovementioned consultation and negotiation have occurred.

  • Travel training means providing instruction, as appropriate, to children with significant cognitive disabilities, and any other children with disabilities who require this instruction, to enable them to:

  • life cycle means all consecutive and/or interlinked stages, including research and development to be carried out, production, trading and its conditions, transport, use and maintenance, throughout the existence of the product or the works or the provision of the service, from raw material acquisition or generation of resources to disposal, clearance and end of service or utilisation;

  • Skills training means systematic skill building through curriculum-based psychoeducational and cognitive-behavioral interventions. These interventions break down complex objectives for role performance into simpler components, including basic cognitive skills such as attention, to facilitate learning and competency.

  • Approved Training means training undertaken in a traineeship and shall involve formal instruction, both theoretical and practical, and supervised practice in accordance with a traineeship scheme approved by the relevant state training authority or NETTFORCE. The training will be accredited and lead to qualifications as set out in subclause 5(e).

  • Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.”

  • travel distance means the distance an occupant has to travel to reach an exit.

  • Newborn means a baby less than nine days old.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • New jobs training program or “program” means the project or projects established by a community college for the creation of jobs by providing education and training of workers for new jobs for new or expanding industry in the merged area served by the community college. The proceeds of the certificates, as authorized by the Act, shall be used only to fund program services related to training programs made necessary by the creation of new jobs.

  • Online Training means prerecorded training delivered virtually e.g. SAP e-learning.

  • On-the-job training means training that is provided by an employer during the routine performance of a job.

  • Hospital pharmacist means an Iowa-licensed pharmacist who meets the requirements for participating in a hospital practice protocol as determined by the hospital’s P&T committee.

  • Trip means a period of travel away from home to a Destination outside the Insured’s City of residence; the purpose of the trip is business or pleasure and is not to obtain health care or treatment of any kind; the trip has defined Departure and Return Dates specified when the Insured applies; the trip does not exceed 364 days; travel is primarily by Common Carrier and only incidentally by private conveyance.

  • Dependent care assistance program means a benefit plan

  • Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.

  • Transition training means written and verbal instructions

  • Shift Cycle means the period of time when the shift schedule repeats itself. In those instances where the schedule does not repeat itself, the term "Shift Cycle" shall be understood to mean a period of time not exceeding twelve (12) weeks.

  • Pilot or "Payment in Lieu of Tax" shall mean any payment made to the Agency or an affected tax jurisdiction equal to all or a portion of the real property taxes or other taxes which would have been levied by or on behalf of an affected tax jurisdiction with respect to a project but for tax exemption obtained by reason of the involvement of the Agency in such project, but such term shall not include Agency fees.
