Shift Cycle definition
Shift Cycle means the period of time when the shift schedule repeats itself. In those instances where the schedule does not repeat itself, the term "Shift Cycle" shall be understood to mean a period of time not exceeding twelve (12) weeks.
Shift Cycle means a period of time in which a certain number and types of shifts and days of rest are arranged in sequence and scheduled. At the end of such period of time the process repeats.

Examples of Shift Cycle in a sentence
For Shift Cycle 6 regular scheduled cycle shall consist of 160 hours at straight time rate of pay and eight (8) hours at overtime rate of pay.
For Shift Cycle 2, 3, 4 and 5 regular scheduled day shall consist of eight (8) hours at straight time rate of pay and two (2) hours at overtime rate of pay.
For Shift Cycle 7: the regular scheduled cycle shall consist of 80 hours at straight time rate of pay.
The Shift Cycle shall be twelve (12) weeks unless otherwise agreed between the parties, and with regulatory approval where required.
