Blacklisted Jurisdiction definition

Blacklisted Jurisdiction means the Principality of Andorra; State of Antigua and Barbuda; Commonwealth of the Bahamas; Barbados State; State of Belize; The state of Brunei Darussalam; Republic of Vanuatu; Republic of Guatemala; State of Grenada; Republic of Djibouti; Dominican Republic; the Canary Islands (Spain); Macau Special Administrative Region (People’s Republic of China); Federal Islamic Republic of Comoros; Republic of Costa Rica; Labuan enclave (Malaysia); Republic of Liberia; Principality of Liechtenstein; Madeira Islands (Portugal);
Blacklisted Jurisdiction means (i) State or territory listed as having a privileged tax regime in the Italian Ministerial Decree of 23 January 2002, as amended from time to time; (ii) as from the fiscal year in which the decree pursuant to article 168-bis of Presidential Decree No. 917 of December 22, 1986 shall take effect, State or territory which is not included in the list of countries and territories (the "White List") allowing an adequate exchange of information with the Italian Tax authorities (for the five (5) years starting on the date of publication of the Decree in the Official Gazette, countries and territories which are not included in the current black-lists set forth by Italian Ministerial Decrees of 4 May 1999, 21 November 2001 and 23 January 2002 nor in the current white list set forth by Italian Ministerial Decree of 4 September 1996 are deemed to be included in the White List); (iii) upon the occurrence of any change in law in force as of the date of this Agreement or upon the implementation of the envisaged change in law described in paragraph (ii) above and considering any subsequent amendments, State or territory included in any list of countries and territories (as set out in any relevant law or regulations) not allowing an adequate exchange of information with the Italian Tax authorities referred to under Article 110, Paragraph 10 of Presidential Decree No. 917 of December 22, 1986.
Blacklisted Jurisdiction means any jurisdiction included in the list of blacklisted jurisdictions maintained by the NBK from time to time.

  • It can be assumed that such definition should be broad and include notably all agree- ments (e.g. loan, service, licence, etc.) and shareholding relationships (e.g. direct shareholder or subsidiary) with an enter- prise located in a Blacklisted Jurisdiction.

  • Hence, in application of the Circular there should be no automatic adverse tax consequences for a Luxem- bourg taxpayer entering into transac- tions with a resident located in a Blacklisted Jurisdiction.

  • Designated Jurisdiction means any country or territory to the extent that such country or territory itself is the subject of any Sanction.

  • Covered Jurisdiction means the United States (or any state or commonwealth thereof or the District of Columbia).

  • Restricted Jurisdiction means any jurisdiction in which the Titling Trust is not qualified and licensed to do business, other than any jurisdiction where the failure to be so qualified and licensed will not have a material adverse effect on the Issuing Entity.

  • Approved Jurisdiction means a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA) or any other jurisdiction or sector as may be approved by the European Commission as ensuring adequate legal protections for personal data.

  • Sanctioned Jurisdiction means any country or territory to the extent that such country or territory is the subject of any Sanction.

  • Specified Jurisdiction means with respect to Party A

  • Permitted Jurisdiction means the United States or any state thereof, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or British Crown Dependencies, any other member country of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, or any political subdivision of any of the foregoing.

  • Prohibited Jurisdiction means any country or jurisdiction, from time to time, that is the subject of a prohibition order (or any similar order or directive), sanctions or restrictions promulgated or administered by any Governmental Authority of the United States.

  • Permitted Jurisdictions has the meaning specified in Section 801(a)(1).

  • Sanctioned Country means, at any time, a country, region or territory which is itself the subject or target of any Sanctions (at the time of this Agreement, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria).

  • Sanctioned Countries shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.30.

  • OFAC SDN List means the list of the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons maintained by OFAC.

  • Sanctioned Territory means a country or territory that is the subject of comprehensive economic Sanctions including, without limitation, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea.

  • OFAC Listed Person is defined in Section 5.16(a).

  • Sanctioned Entity means (a) a country or a government of a country, (b) an agency of the government of a country, (c) an organization directly or indirectly controlled by a country or its government, (d) a Person resident in or determined to be resident in a country, in each case, that is subject to a country sanctions program administered and enforced by OFAC.

  • Sanctioned Party means any persons, entities, bodies, or vessels designated by a Sanctioning Authority.

  • OFAC Lists means, collectively, the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List maintained by OFAC pursuant to Executive Order No. 13224, 66 Fed. Reg. 49079 (Sept. 25, 2001) and/or any other list of terrorists or other restricted Persons maintained pursuant to any of the rules and regulations of OFAC or pursuant to any other applicable Executive Orders.
