Assisting Party definition

Assisting Party means a party that provides assistance pursuant to this Agreement during an emergency or disaster.
Assisting Party means any Party furnishing equipment, personnel, and/or services to a Requesting Party under this agreement;
Assisting Party means a Participating Party that provides assistance pursuant to this agreement during a disaster or emergency.

Examples of Assisting Party in a sentence

  • Any agreed-to service or resource the Requesting Party has agreed to pay the Assisting Party.

  • For the purposes of liability, all persons responding under the operational control of the Requesting Party are deemed to be employees of the Assisting Party.

  • During the Initial Operations period of assistance, the Assisting Party shall continue to pay its employees according to its prevailing ordinances, rules, and regulations.

  • During Extended Operations or declared emergency the Requesting Party shall reimburse the Assisting Party for all direct and indirect payroll costs and expenses (including travel expenses) incurred excepting worker’s compensation due to injuries or death occurring while such employees are engaged in rendering aid under this MMAA.

  • The amount of reimbursement from the Requesting Party shall be reduced by the amount of any insurance proceeds to which the Assisting Party is paid as a result of losses experienced in rendering assistance pursuant to this MMAA.


More Definitions of Assisting Party

Assisting Party or “Responding Party” means the agency or organization which has received a request to furnish aid and assistance from another Party and has agreed to provide the same.
Assisting Party means a State, international organisation, any other entity or person that offer and/or render assistance to a Requesting Party or a Receiving Party in the event of land and/or forest fires or haze pollution.
Assisting Party means the participating EMS entity furnishing equipment, services and/or human Resources to the requesting Party.
Assisting Party has the meaning set forth in Section 13.5 (Defense of Third Party Claims).
Assisting Party means the Party to this Agreement that is providing mutual aid.
Assisting Party means the Party to this Agreement providing Aid to another Party to this Agreement;
Assisting Party means the Participating Government entity furnishing equipment, services and/or manpower to the requesting Party.
