Advertising Area definition

Advertising Area means any area within an Operator Station the subject of an agreement entitling a third party to place advertisements within the area, or such other area as may be nominated by the Advertising Concessionaire pursuant to paragraph 14.3 of Schedule 2.2 (List of Concession Services);
Advertising Area means the advertising areas on Portions of the external walls (having dimensions as specified in the Third Schedule hereto) of the Building (as defined hereinbelow) which is for identification purpose only shown coloured pink on the plan (Drawing No. GPA H20760) annexed hereto.
Advertising Area means the advertising area on a portion of the rooftop of the Subway which is for identification purpose only shown coloured pink on the plan (Plan No. GPA H20950) annexed hereto.

  • That nothing herein contained shall create the relationship of landlord and tenant between the parties hereto or give the Licensee any estate or interest in the Advertising Area other than that as a licensee.

  • Not to display or permit to be displayed on or in the Advertising Area any advertisement of whatsoever kind which has not previously been approved in writing by the Licensor and the Licensor shall in its absolute discretion approve or disapprove any advertisement as it deems appropriate without any compensation payable by the Licensor to the Licensee.

  • That the Licensor shall have the absolute right to permit and grant such licence or licences for additional advertising area or areas to any party or parties near or adjacent to the Advertising Area and the Licensee shall make no objection thereto and shall have no right to claim compensation whatsoever for such permission and grant of such licence or licences as aforesaid.

Advertising Materials include any advertisements in which the System is displayed, referred to, or used, including giving away any unit(s) of the System as prizes in contests or sweepstakes and the public display of the System in product placement opportunities.

  • Advertising device means any device or object erected or located so as to attract public attention to any goods or services or facilities or events and includes flags, banners, pennants and lights;

  • advertising structure means any screen, fence, wall or other physical structure or object erected to display an advertisement or which is in itself an advertisement or used to display an advertisement.

  • Advertising Services means the advertising services selected on the front pages of this Agreement.

  • Advertising sign means any surface or structure with characters, letters or illustrations applied there-to and displayed in any manner whatsoever outdoors for the purpose of advertising or giving information or to attract the public to any place, person, public performance, article, or merchandise, and which surface or structure is attached to, forms part of, or is connected with any building, or is fixed to the ground or to any pole, screen, fence or hoarding or displayed in space, or in or over any water body included in the jurisdiction of the Authority;

  • Advertising Revenues means revenues derived from sales of advertising that are made available to Grantee’s Cable System subscribers within the Town and shall be allocated on a pro rata basis using total Cable Service subscribers reached by the advertising. Additionally, Grantee agrees that Gross Revenues subject to franchise fees shall include all commissions, rep fees, Affiliated Entity fees, or rebates paid to National Cable Communications (“NCC”) and Comcast Spotlight (“Spotlight”) or their successors associated with sales of advertising on the Cable System within the Town allocated according to this paragraph using total Cable Service subscribers reached by the advertising.

  • Advertiser means the person or organisation whose product or service is being advertised, or whose name or image is mentioned or promoted in an advertisement;

  • Business Area means an adjacent area that is zoned by a state, county, township, or municipal zoning authority for industrial or commercial purposes, customarily referred to as "b" or business, "c" or commercial, "i" or industrial, "m" or manufacturing, and "s" or service, and all other similar classifications and that is within a city, village, or charter township or is within 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township or is beyond 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township and contains 1 or more permanent structures devoted to the industrial or commercial purposes described in this subdivision and that extends along the highway a distance of 800 feet beyond each edge of the activity. Each side of the highway is considered separately in applying this definition except that where it is not topographically feasible for a sign or sign structure to be erected or maintained on the same side of the highway as the permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes, a business area may be established on the opposite side of a primary highway in an area zoned commercial or industrial or in an unzoned area with the approval of the state highway commission. A permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes does not result in the establishment of a business area on both sides of the highway. All measurements shall be from the outer edge of the regularly used building, parking lot, or storage or processing area of the commercial or industrial activity and not from the property lines of the activities and shall be along or parallel to the edge or pavement of the highway. Commercial or industrial purposes are those activities generally restricted to commercial or industrial zones in jurisdictions that have zoning. In addition, the following activities are not commercial or industrial:

  • Signage means advertising displays, hoardings, Glow signs, neon signs, LED signs, LCD signs, any digital signs, any sort of display intended to convey information and described in the schedule.

  • Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.

  • Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.
