Working on an RDO. Should an employee be requested to work on an RDO Friday, then those hours worked will be paid at overtime rates in addition to the accrued hours that would normally be paid on the RDO. The paid smoko break of 15 minutes will be paid at normal time, three hours will be paid at time and a half and any further hours will be paid at double time. RDOs can not be otherwise be banked or swapped for another normal working day.

Working on an RDO. When a full-time or part-time employee accepts a stand alone overtime shift on an RDO, that day will remain as an RDO and overtime will be paid at 100% penalty. Alternatively the employee may choose to take time in lieu of payment for overtime as provided for in Clause 17.2 Overtime. This overtime shift will not invoke the 31 or 55-hour rules, however the ten hour break between shifts will still apply. Part-time employees who accept additional shifts to their notified roster will not receive a penalty for working on a day off. They will only receive the 100% penalty for working on one of their 9 nominated RDO’s during the roster period.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:

  • Working on a Holiday An employee who is required to work on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of straight time plus time and one-half (1 1/2).

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) The holidays listed in the part-time local Appendix for the purposes of Article 16.03(b) shall be the same holidays as are listed in the full-time Local Provisions Appendix. If an employee is required to work on any of the holidays set out in the local Appendix the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) her regular straight time hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on such holiday.
